Best Up-coming Young Chef
At this year's renowned International and Gastronomic Fair in Dijon, Hugo Chabert Commis Chef at the Abbaye, was voted best Up-coming Young Chef of the year.
Hugo did his BTS training at the hotel and restaurant school Le Castel in Dijon. He worked as a trainee at the Abbaye in 2018 before being employed full time as a Commis Chef in June 2019.
After a very high level competition, where all the candidates showed remarkable rigour and creativity, it was Hugo who emerged victor.
